SMS & Messaging Policy

Effective August 3, 2026. These policies apply to our website, member app, booking tools, in-studio services, SMS, email, online classes, and livestreams. We may update policies by posting a revised version on this page.

Program name: Hot Yoga and Wellness Center Member Messaging
Program description: Transactional and (optional) promotional text messages about classes, bookings, waitlists, account security, and studio offers.

1. Who messages you

Messages are sent by Hot Yoga and Wellness Center, 576 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Centerville, OH 45459. Support: (937) 503-4041 · mollie@hotyogadayton.com.

2. Types of messages

  • Transactional / service messages: booking and waitlist confirmations, class reminders, cancellation notices, membership/billing notices, password or magic-link codes, and similar account service texts.
  • Marketing / promotional messages: specials, workshops, referral offers, newsletters by text — only if you opt in to marketing SMS.

3. How you opt in

  • Transactional SMS: By providing your mobile number in your account or at the front desk and leaving SMS transactional notifications enabled (or explicitly enabling them in Notification settings).
  • Marketing SMS: By checking an unchecked marketing SMS box (or equivalent clear affirmative action) on signup, profile, or a studio form. Purchase or waiver acceptance alone is not marketing opt-in.

We log consent preferences in your member profile.

4. Opt out

Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message to opt out of SMS from this program. You will receive a one-time confirmation of opt-out. You may also disable SMS in Account → Notifications or email us at mollie@hotyogadayton.com.

Opting out of SMS does not cancel your membership or class bookings. You may still receive essential service emails if your account remains active.

5. Help

Reply HELP or INFO for help, or contact (937) 503-4041 / mollie@hotyogadayton.com. Studio open every day; staff typically respond during business hours.

6. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Typical members may receive a few transactional messages per week when actively booking (confirmations and reminders). Marketing frequency, if opted in, is generally low (for example, a few messages per month) and will not exceed what is reasonably related to studio offers and events.

7. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check your carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Sample messages

  • “Hot Yoga and Wellness Center: You’re booked for Hot Series Standing Sat 9:00 AM. Arrive 10 min early.”
  • “Hot Yoga and Wellness Center reminder: Vinyasa Flow tomorrow 5:30 PM. Bring mat, towel & water.”
  • “Hot Yoga and Wellness Center: Spot open for Yoga Sculpt tonight — confirm in the app soon!”
  • “Hot Yoga and Wellness Center: New student week still open — reply STOP to opt out of promos.” (marketing only)
  • “Hot Yoga and Wellness Center: You are unsubscribed and will no longer receive SMS. Reply START to resubscribe.”

9. Privacy

We use your number only to deliver the program messages described here and as explained in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number. Our SMS provider (e.g., Twilio) processes numbers solely to send messages on our behalf.

10. Terms

Use of messaging is also subject to our Terms of Service.

11. Supported carriers

Compatible with major U.S. carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed on all networks or devices.
